Hey can someone help me?

need some info on the chemical reaction, reaction conditions and properties of the polymer

poly beta-hydroxybutanoate is so hard to find on the net all i can get are bits and pieces but this helps thanx yo

What does the beta mean in poly beta hydroxybutanoate? I thought it was either Polyhydroxybutanoate or Polyhydroxybutyrate( same thing, different names) Is the beta there for any reason? Also, there is another thread about PHB somewhere here, its got a lot of good info on it.

the beta is alternate naming structure for this compound that specifies that the OH group is on the 3rd carbon along.
