Find the values of u and v if:

x^5 -9x^4+ux^3-18x^2+v+27 = 0 has a triple root at x=3

Let the polynomial equation be p(x)=0, and the other roots be say a and b.

Since x=3 is a triple root,
p(3)=0 AND p'(3)=0 AND p"(3)=0.

Also use your sums and product of roots, etc. if necessary to formulate more equations which you can solve simultaneously to find u and v.
