I've spent about 20 minutes today pondering how i would approach this question and i havent came a conclusion yet, so i would appreciate any help i can get

the question is from arnold and arnold (aka camb) : Exercise 4.2 Q8

the question has alot of super script etc so since most people have either book would any 1 be able to help? if no 1 wants to write it up can you just gimme a hint :p

it would be a lot better if you wrote up the question......

when doing an indice, surround it with the tags [noparse]indice[/noparse]

eg for x2, type [noparse]x2[/noparse]


Even if people have the cambridge textbook, it is easier to read it off the screen rather than having to look it up in a book

Show that the polynomial P1(z) = bnzn + bn - 1zn- 1 + ... + b0 and P2 = cn + cnzn + cn -1 zn - 1 + .... + c0 are equal for more then n values of z, then bn = cn, bn-1 = cn-1, ..... , b0 = c0

thats should be it
