hey,
was wondering if anyone had any info on Pope XXIII regarding the question:

analyse the impact of one person or school of thought on christianity by explaining the extent and significance of changes to the tradition and describing the continuing impact today.

I wrote an essay but didnt do as well as i'd hoped because the marker said i dealt with it on a superficial level.

any help would be great.

Well.... As far as info on Pope XXIII for that question, I'd perhaps focus on his acceptance of evolution and tie that in to the current creationism/evolution debate.

Its asking you to delve a little deeper than the above suggestion

ie he was the guy behind Vatican II
ie massive changes in the structure etc of the Catholic Church which have ongoing impacts today



Thats where you should be heading, not his stance on evolution (doesnt tie in with the syllabus aims)
