hey you guys!:)
at my school we're study postcolonial texts such as "Heat and dust" and "jasmine" and "a passage to india" and we've done a bit of "rudyard kipling" yet it seems we're the only school doing this kinda thing because whenever i go to the HSC resource secion in my local library and look at the extension 1 books there's never any topic relating to what we're doing at school.
so my main question is are any of you guys doing the same thing?

omg... my "HGHS alert!" bells are ringing. (Heat and Dust is SUCH a Mr Eldridge text...)

That aside, those are Yr 11 texts dearie - and as Yr 11 english syllabi are created by the school, you will rarely find any resources on them (not to mention schools aren't permitted to study current HSC texts in Yr 11). Best wishes though!
