Sure do. Long time fan here: since about 1999, when I first heard their song "san dimas high school football rules", the title song on their "Look Forward To Failure" album. That's when they were just getting started too. It is still my favourite song of their's.Originally posted by jhakka
Ataris like... rock.
I like their older songs a bit better too, their new album is still good though. Their old music is more punk rock but they seem to be moving toward rock music now. There are still plenty of great punk bands to listen to though, so I'm not worried.Originally posted by jhakka
I started listening to them early last year, I think it was, on reccomendation. First song I heard was "I Remember You" (which wasn't on an album). My favourite song from them (and in general) is Teenage Riot, off the End Is Forever album.
I prefer their earlier stuff overall, personally. More rockish and punkish or something.
Aye. An abundance of punk bands is all we really need, although I don't mind the apparent move the Ataris are making towards rock.Originally posted by Merethrond

nobody likes the new metallica..... shame that the "Great bass monster" Cliff Burton(RIP) had to pass away... i bet things would be different and better if he was still hereOriginally posted by rhapsodyinblack
I don't like new Metallica either... and I'm surprised that you don't know who Cradle of Filth, Blur or Manic Street Preachers are... *raises eyebrow*

Ataris aren't stagnant, each of their albums have a different feel.
Not exactly the music I'm into. Well, occasionally I will have a listen to Coldplay, and Jack Johnson or Ben Lee aren't bad on a long drive.Originally posted by arls

Linkin park suck their songs all sound the same. Did anyone go to The*Ataris show when they were in sydney, Kris and Luke (Lotel) played teenager of the year, it was a very good show. I can't wait to mxpx on the 23th
