If no silly mistakes.... (And there better be none! I spent extra time to make sure I had no silly errors.)

Q1. 15/15
Q2. 15/15
Q3. 15/15
Q4. 15/15
Q5. 15/15
Q6. 14/15
Q7. 2/15
Q8. 0/15

which is 91/120.

Is this an hard or easy exam? :/ if you guys all found it easy (looks like you have) it means I only have ~80% when scaled :<

You guys make me sad. Very sad. Hoping for the best:
15/15
15/15
15/15
14/15
12/15
13/15
10/15
8/15

= 102

Unfortunately, I have a high stupid mistake ratio, so I'm looking at about a 90.

I'd really like a band E4; is it possible with a 90, do you guys reckon?

90/120? It's quite possible that you will get a band E4 with that raw mark.

a raw about 100 will usually give you 94+ so i think you'll be in the 90s.

Yeah I reckon 90 should make E4 - remember that last year people were saying the same thing about the exam being way too easy and everything yet it seems like the raw marks weren't spectacularly high.

And you have to remember that often it is the top people who frequent bos more often because they care about marks most (and its a bit of an ego trip seeing that they beat other people - and before u say I'm bagging out others, I would honestly fall in a similar category)

And my estimate would be about 117 (hopefully more if I don't make any silly mistakes and depending on the leniency/strictness of the marking)

Q1: 15/15
Q2: 15/15 if 2c is y^2 = x^2 - 2x
Q3: 15/15 if 3dii is squre root of (Fcosx/mr)
Q4: 15/15
Q5: 11/15
Q6: 14/15
Q7: 6-8/15
Q8: 8/15

Round about 95/120... careless mistake = 0-10 marks...
so at least 85/120, hopefully^^

Didn't think the test would have been easier than the 2006 paper by the looks of your estimated marks lol. Anyone care to scan me a copy of the paper so I can see for myself?

um, i don't have a scanner, but i think the questions are easier than last years by a little, BUT the paper seems to be longer or at least takes longer to do. 2 mark questions in the paper seemed to take forever!

so statistically speaking a candidate is more likely to gain a higher mark in last year compare to this year since this year "takes longer to do"!!!!?????? wow thank you!!!!! mwah i love u!!!

i think that the 'average' student would do better in last year's than this years because the average student would probably get less of the paper done and the questions are not much easier than last years (IMO)

on the other hand, i think it is easier to get full marks on this paper than the last.

WOOOOOOOOOWWWW i love u even more!!!! "knees on keyboard praying"

so statistically speaking if the claim "last year 70ish got scaled up to e4" was true, provided the fact that about 28.3% of candidates received an e4 last year, then "above average" kids like me (not geniuses like u :))who could get about 70~80ish will have a chance to taste e4!!????????

omg omg omg im not aiming at 95+ anyway an exactly "90" (not 91+) will satisfy me the most as it makes me feel so lucky XDXDXDXD

seriously how much hrs did u study per week (through out the year)for ex2 in order to get 110+? how many hrs did u study the month b4 the exam? i dont think i can get 100+even if i study for like 24/7. i just cant get q7 & q8 (not this year, the funny thing is i think they "spread" out the difficult questions instead of focusing all of them on q7 and q8)

well, first, i don't do coaching. The only times i do maths are when there are exams, in which i usually do about 3-4 hours in the week leading up to the exam.
i'm not one of those 'i do 4 hours a night' kids. That's only in the week before school exams.

fishy, it's an image so you can probably upload on an image server and then link
