I got 33 too but I didn't know that put me 7th, that's pretty good. There are still 3 marks that I'm going fight to the death for but I'll be lucky if I even get one of them methinks.

83%, ranked 1st in my class, and should be in the top 10 of the grade, but nobody bothered to tell us our ranks

Its pointless fighting for marks with our teacher.
In the middle of my very eloquent and persuasive argument, she just gets up, says "no" and walks off.
She doesn't give any mark increases unless they are
1. counting errors
2. Multiple choice errors.
:(
meh.

Just circumvent her and appeal to a higher authority.

i sympathise with ur plight
this is the rubbish that happened at grammar last year:

the first crap was completely screwed. supervisors in different classrooms had varying levels of kindness, so some wrote up on the board some of the chemicals which needed to be identified in one of the parts. there were no marks next to the qs, so noone knew wat was worth.

in the trial pracs, a VERY specific pigment was asked in the chem of art section (not in the syllabus!). we also lost marks for putting crosses -|- on graphs instead of x's.

and did we get any of the marks we fought for? nope. :vcross:

Just remember that "the squeaky wheel gets oiled first". Persistence often pays off and you should fight if something is particularly unjust.

woah u serious... i thought it was just my teacher being lazy.... except 50% of our exam was from the previous years' half yearly exam..

I flicked through it... and didn't even pay attention to the calculation parts... and the same questions i decided to ignore came in the exam.. and i still had no idea how to do them
