What other themes or types of powerplay are there in Remember the Titans other than Race as a factor in determining Power

hey, i am also doing remember the titans...thnks to you memtioning it

i found it has power of passion (for sport) which helped tehm to overcome their racial differences...also a bit of societal power...hope i helped ^_^

hey, i was also gunna do rememba the titans as well thanks 2 my sister.

i was also thinking the power of relationships formed, despite the initial stages, the power of relationships allows the team to get through the racial barriers between the team and society as a whole. at the beginning of the movie, race definately determines a social hierarchy, and throughout the movie the theme constantly re appears. however the team is able to over come the problems, deal with the main character taken out of the picture and still play the finals and win.
