Is anyone else using Grass Roots as a support text for powerplay? My teacher told me that it is a great text to use for powerplay, and I used it in the trials (14/20, didnt answer the question properly...), but the feedback I got from it isnt all that helpful.
Basically I am just arguing that power is sometimes saught for certain reasons (unlike in 1984) but ultimately it leads to corruption. I also highlighted the satirical aspects of the text and all the usual jazz, but Im having trouble relating it to 1984.
If anyone else is using this text, could you let me know what parallels you are drawing to the set text and other related text?
