hi....well ill let you guys konw that ive read a similar thread posted before but its not related to this problem so yeah..
anyway, i am trying to print lecture slides (outline view) from home as you do but the printer will print out like funny characters and will "stretch" the document so the words are all incomprehensible. Before this, the printer will emit warning signs like blinking lights and wanting to print but stoips in the middle before printing the "stretched" document described above.
i dont knowwhat to do? i just copied the thing onto word and it prints out perfectly without a hitch.
My printer is a HP Deskjet 610C about 4-5 years old. no sings or anyhting...

thanks for any help!

Tried messing around with the printing options in power point? Such as, printing on landscape or something? Mess around with the settings and see if anything changes. *hence, just take note of what the default settings are*

thanks guys for your helps but ive found out the problem....MEMORY.
basically i had too many prgrams open on the task bar eating away at teh memory so the computer couldnt send the stuff over to the spooler.
I found this out using windows help. XP help is real good after all, using the printer troubleshooter. ive leanrt something new, thought others would like to know that many problems can be sloved using windows which also saves time.
