How do you make two pictures in powerpoint to both "crawl" over the screen from different sides to meet at the middle SIMULTANEOUSLY??

- Insert the picture into the powerpoint presentation, and select that picture.
- Go to the menu Slide Show -> Custom Animation.
- From the "Add Effect" drop down menu choose Motion Paths -> Custom Motion Path -> Line, and draw the line representing the path of the moving picture. You can adjust the speed from the "Speed" drop down menu (as well as other properties).
- Consult the help files for more details.

That's how it's done in Powerpoint 2002, hopefully the method is similar with Powerpoint 2000.

you mean 2003?

i'm pretty sure you can't do it with powerpoint XP, then again my memory could be failing me.

Nup, I've got Microsoft Office XP (with Powerpoint 2002), and I can do it.
