Pracs and Tutes (1 Viewer)

Just wondering if Practicals and tutes are running in the first week ofuni (week startin 28th)

No MOST subjects dont have tute's pracs in the first week because, well, there is nothing you have learnt yet to do work on.
Some even dont start till 3rd week.
Alougth, for ACCG101, tutes start in week 1.

yea, it all depends on the unit you are doing
let say

comp115, theres prac in the first wk
and maths135, theres tute in the first wk

whereas theres alot of units don't commence tutes and prac till wk 2
just ask the lecturer before hand

If your tute is on BEFORE your lecture, then, well, you cant really find out ... unless u just rox up
If your tute is AFTER your lecture in week 1, then they will tell yah

yea thats wat i meant, cause sum r at nite, and wats the point of hangn round 4 nothing

but i read just then in another thread that tute's and pracs rnt on 1st week

i wouldn't matter about the tutes/pracs in the first week...
if you have your tute/prac scheduled after your lec, than you can find out then..
but if not, then don't worry, they won't penalise you for it...

cos if u miss out on the first wk of tute
chances are 80% of the ppl will miss out too

except for the tutes that mark u on attendance however those don't start until the 2nd week anyway cause they have to give u ample notice in advance like accg105

If you have your lecture after your tute/prac time, and it is on, just go to one after the lecture sometime. That said, its not going to kill you to miss the first one. A majority of them throughout the term are BS (ie. psych).
