Hey guys

just a friendly prediction, please don't kill me

I go to a school with pretty dodgy ranks, outside of 200 most likely, but the careers adviser believes that our school year cohort is one of the strongest year its ever been

Maths Ext 1 4/20 (5th in trial)
Maths Ext 2 5/5 (5th in trial)
English Standard 27/105 (24th in trial)
Business Studies 8/35 (5th in trial)
Physics 16/22 (16th in trial)
Chemistry 7/9 (7th in trial)

from these ranks its most likely my chemistry will not be counted.

i feel really cheat with my ranks because for business studies and physics, if i had an extra mark for BS i would've came 5th and if i had 2 marks for physics i would've came 13th. that was how close the ranks were. however the person who came 9th in BS and 17th in physics were 4-5 % margin, so yeah... very annoying

my aim is 85+ or 86.3 to get into macquarie B comm Accnting

well i guess you have to study hard if you want to get 85+
its not out of the question, but it really depends on how you and your cohorts perform
if you ace maths ext 1 and 2 it would be a good boost to your UAI
id say you get around 80-85

great... and the prediction my school gave me was 81

hmmm but then again, he's always recommending everyone to go to tafe :S because he knows nothing about universities lol

I reckon about 80 - the subjects you're doing scale well (apart from standard english) and your rank in MX1 suggests you're capable of doing far better in Ext. 2.
