Yea cos it's usually only worth 5 marks so it would be a waste of time.
With dodgy marking criteria, i think it wouldn't be a waste of time. It would probably set you aside from the rest of the state which stick with only acid rain, however you show thorough and in depth Chemistry knowledge.

Probably a few students talk about ozone.

It could potentially be a 7 marker and definitely set aside the top students since many would've never thought of ozone like you did.

True true, and i believe a question like such hasn't popped up recently (i shall check tonight and confirm tomorrow). Most students don't pick up on it because each info is taught in different modules, and because in the ACIDS module, it's always acid rain and it's been drilled into our heads, no one notices ozone.

Btw what marks are we all aiming for chem (overall)?
Personally 93+ (content with a 90).

Personally 93+ (content with a 90).
After all this studying I'm starting to give up on chem cos it's impossible for me to obtain a band 6 due to my rank and crap chemistry cohort

The nitrogen content of bread was determined using the following procedure:
A sample of bread weighing 2.80g was analysed
The nitrogen in the sample was converted into ammonia
The ammonia was collected in 50.0 mL of 0.125 mol/L HCL. All of the ammonia was neutralised, leaving an excess of HCL
The excess HCl acid was titrated with 23.30 mL of 0.116 mol/L NaOH solution.

Calculate the percentage by mass of nitrogen in the bread.

What are you ranked?

As long as everyone above you will do well, you shouldn't be affected that much.

I am ranked 12th on a course mark of 88 (yes i know we do not get marks, but it's not hard to calculate them) and 1st is on 92. Literally 4 marks, makes 12 rank difference.

Hell yes back titration, you're my kind of guy. Is that supposed to be 0.116 mol/L NaOH though?

I would absolutely love a 95, but I'm realistically happy with any band six

Hoping for 94+. How hard is it to get 96?
