Heres the list of all the essays topics in HSC past papers since 2002-2012

By looking at the trends, is it possible to tell "predict" the TOPICS for the essays that is likely to be in the HSC Economics exam this year???

IT is possible to predict, but unlikely you will get bang on.

Prepare for everything! :)

Last year was:
- Movements in value of $AUD affecting economic performance
- Effects of macroeconomic policy on economic growth and inflation
- Effects of globalisation and free trade and protection policies on the Australian economy
- Analyse causes of unemployment and its effects on the Australian economy.

So let's rule those out.

Leaves me with a strong suspicion that the following things may pop up:
- Labour Market reforms (yucky!)
- External stability and CAD
- Another Case Study q that looks at things other than growth and quality of life (distribution of income + something else perhaps?)
- Economic developement
- Distribution of wealth and income
- Fiscal policy

I know
I wont be spending time predicting the actual questions
I was just trying to limit the main topics so that i can focus writing my essay plans on
Like about 5 or 6 topics that are likely to come up in this year Economics exam
