btw, does your first preference have to be always the one with the greater UAI required? that is, does preference follow UAI score?

i really wanna get in for pharmacy at usyd, but my chances are slim!

Is there a 'big' advantage for those who put pharmacy as first preference then those who put it as 2nd or 3rd? like from what ive heard, many ppl are trying for med puttingit as their 1st pref but leaving pharm as their 2nd if they dont get in and so yeah

what if the person who left it as their 2nd/3rd had a Uai that allowed them to do it and it was higher than your Uai by lets say, 1 with the same STat score as you...who would most likely be selected?

The preference you give to a course has no impact on whether you get offered the course. If there are two candidates, one with a slightly higher selection score and pharmacy at #2 and one with a slightly lower selection score but with pharmacy at #1, the one with the higher selection score would get the offer. (Assuming the one with the higher score and pharmacy at #2 didn't get an offer for their first preference, that is.)
