Yeah, I knew which one it was, I wasnt talking about mamaduke. I still think its going to be a glorified cafe.

On a side note, mamaduke aint too bad. But the food there, rediculous. I got a roll from there: $8.00. And it was on french bread stick, had a little bit of filling but on the whole not a great deal appertising.

End rant.

EDIT: How would a restaurant be financially viable in a university? Not dissing it, just quite curious.

Oh, serious? I tend to mix it up a bit.

Im only there Monday and Thursday though. So usually Subway, or something from the shortland cafe, pretty much anything thats not from the cafeteria (excluding the noodle place).

I miss noodles.
I miss 4 days/week at university.

i used to buy food but then bought a car so i'm poor.
consequently, i take fruit from home and, whilst i am now much healthier, i find myself longing for southwest sauce.

I went to KFC yesterday, a friend decided to drive down and I couldn't say no to that.

Theres never anything too exciting or nice to have buy here. The only really appetising thing is subway, but theres usually a line out the door.

Hmm, I always wondered what they were building in there. I dont see who would go there... i cant imagine candle-lit dinners near the most mosquito-infested part of the uni.


I really want a macdonalds cheeseburger now!

in any case, there was a bunch of people in collared shirts and dresses carrying wine glasses inside when i left uni yesterday.

The hot chips tend to be the thing that I eat the most. Just because you don't have to wait for them... but subway is about the only decent thing there.
