Has anyone changed one of their subjects? State your reason why.

I've changed one of my subjects today; PD/H/PE for Business Studies because PD was really dry and slow going. I just couldn't get a taste out of it even though its been 2 1/2 weeks. I thought Business Studies would be more enjoyable and its something that I would be interested in even though I don't want to do Business or anything related at Uni, I wanna do med (yes, its another med hopeful). I know, its quite ironic or contradictory of what I did...dropping PD for Business. Let me know what subjects you changed as well!

haha you made the wrong choice, pd gets much better down the road, business is just rote and rote and rote

I'm was wanting to swap out of business but I actually came to enjoy it over the last week which i think is mainly due to my teacher who is very good and enthusiastic about the subject. Right now I want to swap from physics to chem but it would mean swapping classes for business which i'm a bit unsure of.

Any good luck with your choice and you other subjects

Business is just regurgitating a rote-learned essay. Over and over and over. Its a nice course though, I enjoyed Prelim Business.

And in relation to your question, nope, haven't changed my subjects - I enjoy them all.

I changed my subjects mainly because I needed more time to focus on the things I enjoyed so it is definitely a good idea to be changing subjects. In particular, I did also pick up prelim business studies went quite well in it (ranked 2/80) but I realised it was taking up a lot of my time with how much I had to remember on top of my other subjects so I dropped it at the start of year 12. I'm not saying this to scare you or anything but just don't feel bad about changing subjects or dropping them, if anything just know that people drop subjects even before their HSC exams.
