Does anyone have any good ideas for laying out projects and making them look really professional.

For example:
- font ideas
- structure
- borders
- headings etc

Don't use colours that project poorly (like yellow on a white background)

I agree. It's easy to do as well ^^

just make sure it's readable and that significant sections (i.e. headings, subheadings) are in different font size, perhaps different fonts. Borders add classy touch although can be irritating if u have one line and ya printer prints the border on the whole page -_-'

Blue, black, green and red are the colours to go. Yellow, pink and all those colours are yuck ><
