Principals as referees? (1 Viewer)

I was wondering if we were allowed to use our principal as a referee when applying for a job? I've heard that we can't, so i just wanted to make sure.

Also, would it be a very good idea to use our principal as a referee, especially since the school year is almost over and employers won't be able to contact them during the school hols?

i dont see why you couldn't, otherwise why would they give us a reference in the first place..??

you should have gotten a written reference from your school tho

if you're good friends with the principal or other teachers you can get their home numbers

True that. i have most of my teachers email addresses phone numbers etc., so maybe that'd be an idea alexialight???
