They're soon going to just have one journalism degree, because these days -- especially with the internet -- there is no real division between broadcast and print as you pretty much need to know how to do both.
You wont get by these days just being a print journalist, as you'll need to have broadcast skills.
If in 2009 there is still print and broadcast, I would go for broadcast. But the way things are going, there might only be one stream (for very good reason).
As far as your application goes, you don't need to know whether you're doing print or broadcast. You don't even have to decide between print or broadcast in the 1st year of uni.
