[2010] *** Private tutoring in Year 12 NSW HSC Maths Ext 2 @ Strathfield

Starting from October 2009 I will be offering tutoring for Mathematics Extension 2 to new Year 12 students.

However I will not be offering tutoring for new Year 11-12 Mathematics and Extension 1 as I believe it's vital for me to concentrate on as few streams as possible.

• Year 12 NSW HSC Mathematics Extension 2 (also known as 4U Maths)

Tutoring Type:

• Up to 6 students for Mathematics Extension 2

Rates:

• One on one: $30.00/hour for 1.5 hours (negotiable)
• Small group: $20.00/hour for 2 hours

I wouldn't have tutoring at my place; instead I would have it at Strathfield library (closest station is Homebush)

1. In how many ways can 8 committee members be selected from 12 people? Is it 495? and ii) 2 people say that they will only serve as committee members if both are selected. Otherwise neither will serve. In how many ways can this be done to satisfy BOTH these conditions?
