i got no idea....but the stupid turns thing was so confusing
theres like 3 possibilities of it being more than 45...i just didnt know what to put as the bottom number..
how many possibilities are there?? cuz i put 3 / 36! - cuz the first point has like 36 possibilities to choose from the other turn..and the next one has 35...etc? ahhh i got no idea, but i put probability as 1! haha

i put 431/432 or something like that...
...which made sense to me at the time but from other ppls answers would appear to be wrong. :(

This is what I wrote on a different thread.

how do you work it out?
let me see...should be

P(<45) = 1 - [ (1/36 *1/36) + (1/36 * 2/36*) + (2/36 * 1/36) ]

think tat's how i wrote it...

it's actually 1291/1296
that's my big weird number
but i did it different
i just went 36x36=1296
that is the total possible outcomes
and then there were only 5 ways to get over 45
so i wrote down P(<45)=1 - 5/1296
which = 1291/1296
i hope it is right
probability is not usually my strong point
