... is my weakness. :(

i) A box of 12 golf balls contains 8 white and 4 yellow balls. A boy selects 2 golf balls at random. What is the probability they are different colours?

My answer was 16/33

ii) Another box of 12 golf balls contain 6 white, 4 yellow and 2 pink balls. A boy selects 2 golf balls at random. What is the probability they are different colours?

My answer was 2/3

I don't have answers for this paper so could somebody please check my answers for me? Thank you for your troubles. :)

Thank you, SaHbEeWaH.

Pals_2005, I know that you are only posting in every math forum with your (fake) bloated self-confidence in order to bring more stress to HSC students, but I'll say this anyway: If you are 100% confident of acing every single exam, good for you. Use your knowledge to help others with their problems and do not be condescending towards people who are less intelligent than you.
