Outcomes of assesment.

1. Describes and predicts reactions involving carbon compounds.
2. Explains reactions between elements and compounds in terms of atomic structures and periodicy.
3. Describes the chemical basis of energy transformations in chemical reactions.
4. Describes and predicts reactions involving carbon compounds.

Details of Task
The task will contain a practical component that will be used to develop a description in written format.

Anyone done a similar assesment?

Considering the outcomes do u think the prac will be on galvanic cells?

If so would we have to talk about some commercial applications of them?

Plz comment on what i can do to study for this assesment in consdering the outcomes of the assesment.

Thanx

It's not impossible, but you could just as well get an experiment on the decolourisation of a bromine solution given those outcomes.

Extending the prac to commercial applications is possible I think, I wouldn't expect many marks to be on it though. The whole point of a prac test is to test analytical and not regurgitative skills, so I would be surprised to see a question like that.

just a personal opinion, i dun think its galvanic cells... could be decolorisation prac as kini mini said, and cause of teh energy element, i think it's likely 2 b a prac on molar heats of alkanols
