sorry i don't have the 2005 handbook.. but i looked it up on the net:

and if you notice:
Core one of COMP units
ISYS units 3

its either one COMP unit OR one ISYS unit. the 3 being the amount of credit points required. and since each 100 level unit is only worth 3 credit points, it would mean one of either....

300 LEVEL = 30CP
200 LEVEL = 36CP
100 LEVEL = 30CP

You apply at the end of the year, when they start recruiting, look for the yellow sheets planted around the place. They accept almost anyone who is willing and you talk about your experiences and go through a bit of training and guide the little ones during orientation.

yeah you choose the compulsory units in that level... and then just fill up the rest of the required level credit points with anything you want so long as you satisfy any pre-requisites.

oh and you dont' have to stick to that 30cp in 100 level. you can choose to do less as long as you have fulfilled the 300 and 200 level requirements. so you can choose to do:
100 = 24cp
200 = 36cp
300 = 36cp
TOTAL = 96

Come to think of it, my book says its for re-enrolling kids only, so you should check up...I always thought transfer kids enrolled same time as school leavers though.
