I know its slightly old news but she totally sold out.

She looks kinda hot.

First thing I thought when I first saw this clip - well, I felt pretty weirded out - how will little girls and boys take in this clip? I mean, even me a 19 year old felt sexually inadequete! Like, I needed to slut around to be sexy :/ Not really. Yeah I'm exaggerating a tad.

I don't particularly have a formed opinion on this song conceptually, but musically, turn it off

There's something about the song I like, but it's like there's not enough "wow" factor to stop me from getting bored about halfway through the song. It just seems a bit monotonous to me...

Opinion-wise, I'm kinda disappointed that Nelly sold into the "let's make songs about wanting to hook up in clubs" like bazillions of other artists are currently doing. I know she copped a lot for her voice in her previous songs, but it's still major One of my favourite parts in the song (the part I actually look forward to) is the end where she's sort of humming a melody in that kinda-not-really-yodel kind of voice, simply because it sounds so much more interesting than the rest of the song! (except for the "I just want you on my team"/"so does everybody else"/"s***" line, that's really good )

In other news, I haven't seen the likes of Justin Timberlake/Ciara/Missy Elliot/Britney Spears/Delta/Usher/a whole bunch of other successful commercial artists in like, ages. Aside from Pink and Christina (who have recently released songs), I'm beginning to wonder if a whole bunch of them like, died or something :S

^ And even Jennifer Lopez! What's with that new song? "zz zz zz zz zz?"

i like the song, kinda sick of it now but i was jammin it a few months ago, i like her album...maybe thats because i love timbaland i don't know....but timbs a TANK now, he used to be a chubby little baby .

she looks hotter in the 'maneater' video clip, and 'do it' sounds JUST like a madonna song. She's a talented pop artist.

i actually don't mind justin timberlake, he just finished recording a song with T.I it will be on his new album and the snippet for his new single 'sexyback' doesnt sound too bad

So? at least she isn't pretending that she is not out for sucess by forming a pastiche (yeah I finished yr 12) example of 70's rock and pretending that not washing is cool.

As for the clip, Nelly isn't that attractive but damn a few sit ups and a bath and damn... I know I'd rather watch her then a bunch of fat girls dance around. Is that what you would prefer. Maybe instead of people bitching they should step and try and be better.

The track itself is fun. I kind of like it.

zen zen zen zen zen, is a calling which has a lil hip hop history permeating throughout it, that's why when people are like 'lolz i love hip hop but LL Cool J is wierd saying 'zzzzz' wat kinda shit is that lolz' and i laugh at them and go lolz im better than you.

'zen x 1000000000' is actually a, well kinda like chant used by afrikka bambatta in his classic 'planet rock' and the beat is sampled from afrikka bambatta - looking for the perfect beat, so the song is kinda paying homage to that album

haha yeh i kinda cringe when the maneater chorus comes on, but its grown on me

but i really love the first verse of that song when she goes 'everybody look at me, me i walk in the club u start screa-ming' she looks fucking sexy in that video clip though.

the album is pretty good suprisingly.
