I'm doing it too. I still need to choose a play.. problem is, i dunno which play to choose! There are too many and they all sound boring? except for Summer Rain, and Ham Funeral. Any suggestions?

Well personally I think the ham funeral sounds cool coz you can go heaps creative in terms of design. Also its really hard to read so I think that not many other people will be doin it. are you gonna use photoshop to do your designs or are yours gunna be hand renderings. I'm using computor graphics.

Decided on "Private lives," ive nearly finished my poster still got all the rest to do. Are many people from your schools doing this for their ip? im the only one from mine.

yeah theres three of us One is doing private lives and this other stupid chick who never comes to school is doing Summer Rain. Are you using photoshop for your designs. Finally I found some people to talk to. how are yu going about yours?

I'm doing Meat Party as my play... Mainly 'cause all the other choices i got were cwap... I've only really jotted down a few main ideas but i'm going to start concentrating on it more after my half yearlies...

Im using photoshop for mine, im planning on gettin mine close to finished during these holidays. I started just with main idea's of the play and finding images that evoked the themes of the play and then just backround research and then fiddiling around on photoshop which is sooo time consuming. Which theatre company are you designing for??

Well Ive decided to base my Theatre Company on a fictional one just to be on the safe side. Yeah Summer Rain sounds cool and you can be heaps creative. Hey what size are you going to get your posters printed, I was thinking A1 cept its heaps expensive. Yeah I love photoshop its so fiddly though. This girl in my class is doing Private lives cept hers is pretty basic and doesnt relate to like themes and stuff.

Well now the ball is rolling do you guys wanna risk telling our ideas It could help. I dunno. I just thought it would be good if we got a range of perspectives on them tell all! Jeza

a fictional one hey..doesnt that make it hard like theres nothing to guide you through it? Im taking on company B which is good i like the way they set out all their stuff.
How can you be doing promotion and not look at the themes?? strange...
I cant find my sheet but didnt it have size requirments i could've made that up.

started my log book and made some ideas but havent draw up drafts

im hopefully gonna take my own pics and crazy them up on photoshop

ive hardly done anything tho and i feel so behind
drama at my school is prob the worst subject u could pick

im actually enjoying brecht surpisingly enough.
I wouldnt be where i am with my designing if it were my choice but we just had a progress assignment where we had to hand in secitions of our ip, which is good because its keeping me on track.
I didnt realise how time consuming this would be until recently, its huge me n my teacher worked out that i sill have about 150hrs of work left till its ready for trials.

but its more reliable that performance
but i am still clinging to performance even tho ive done work for this hahaha.

as for brecht i like it because its challenging me but its shit when hardly anyone in the class understands and doesnt realise that their doing drama for their hsc

Hey guys. Yeah you think thats tuff I'm the arty farty stereotype and stupidly chose three major works coz I suck heaps at maths. I do Art Drama and SAC. What do you yu guys do?
As for Brecht I HATE HIM! Were doin him and Australian drama. I'm good at english but what the hell were they thinking giving us plays that weren't originally written in English. Where doin 3 penny Opera, Mother Courage and Summer of the 17th doll and The removalists.
As for my promo stuff Ive done heaps cept I need to take better photos. I reckon the hardest will be deciding on my final idea. I need to concentrate on the promo text, I keep praying it will go away an all I have to do is the designs. Keep chattin

Ye your one of those people i dont understand... how do you have the time to juggle three major works?
I think Brechts pretty interesting ye we doing three penny and mother courage and then Ruby Moon and The 7 stages of grieving.
I just want to find my final image which is proving damn hard because once i do that its just the written stuff.
These holidays im just doing drama as much as possible to get it done before term three gets hectic with trials and the Group work.
Do you guys have exams at the moment..we are doing pre trials so with ip we have a brecht essay and a group performance of his plays

I'm very confused. So we do a poster, flyer, a thing about the theatre company, an article of the play, history of the play, info about the playwright and is that it?
