Hey guys where is a good place to learn how to do trigonometry proofs and probability
Try your hand at some proofs yourself,
just give yourself the definitions of sine, cosine, and tangent functions. Try to prove simple ones like sin^2 x + cos^2 x =1 or sinx=cos(90-x) etc
Then move up to the extension identities (if you do 3U) (and if needed give yourself the first part of the proof, like if its too obscure you can give yourself the first step of proving the compound angle identities), if you dont do 3U then its quite straightforward to prove the 2U ones.
Proving identities yourself can really help your understanding of them rather than simply rote-learning them.
Probability does not really contain any proofs, alot of the 2U ones are logic based such as:
P(A and B)=P(A) * P(B)
Where A and B are independent events, things like this and the mutually exclusive and non-mutually exclusive results are more logic based.
If you do 3U on the other hand proving the formula nCr gives you a really good understanding of Perms and Combs in general (also more logic based)
