Revolution for sure, due to the franchises, back catalogue, and nifty price tag.

The PS3 will no doubt be more expensive than the xbox 360 and revolution since its got all that high-tech hardware.

What I found interesting was the fact that Kutaragi said this about the price of the PS3 , " ...consumers to think to themselves ‘I will work more hours to buy one' "

Also, Sony are expected to make a huge loss of over $1 billion in the 1st year of PS3 sales

The very fact that PS3 wnt b comin for a while means 360 will do quite alot better. However, PS3 spec's are through the roof. Once PS3 comes out...(which is btw on the same day as Halo 3s release), however, i doubt 360 will hold its ground...

Nintendo Revolution doesn't seem to have a lot going for it, but it's definately the one I want :)

Nintendo = good games. I need Zelda, and so even if it does suck I will buy it for Zelda. Second of all, I dont think Nintendo lies when they say it will revolutionise gaming. The way to look at it: Nintendo invented the analog stick, now there's 2 in the controllers, nintendo invented rumble pack. Hell nintendo invented most of the video gaming ideas out there. And now, they'll hopefully do the same again.

my friends, if you truly believe in gaming, then you will witness the power of the PS3. your gaming mind will MELT.

first visit this truly reliable IGN page:

http://media.ps3.ign.com/media/748/748475/vids_1.html

then uh i forgot which video it was. it would be either the one titled 'Direct Feed Hi-Res Trailer (08/10/2005)' or '(05/16/2005)'.

trust me, its well worth it, xbox360/revolution/ps3 prospects alike.

:D:D

XBOX 360 ALL THE WAY!!!

It makes me hot just thinking bout it (joke, lol).

I am a xbox girlie all the way.
Just on a random note, coz I don't want to start a thread that'll die in two seconds, does anyone else have a preference for the fat controllers over the smaller ones? I like the bigger better...

No, I hate the big fat controller, it feels like you're holding two hotdogs when you are playing, luckily they changed it.

Even the smaller x-box controllers hurt my hands. I can't stand using the big ones. PS2 controllers are the best.

i only have the smaller x-box controller. I find the x-box controller more erganomically sufficient for my gaming needs.

I reckon that the xbox controllers are actually more comfortable than cramping your hands around the puny ps controllers.

Hmm, I'm trying to say something about having my hands wrapped around the larger xbox controller doesn't hurt so much, but everything I seem to try to write comes out kinky

OMG .. i was looking sooo forward to play Harrypotter on Xbox 360. :(:(

when the 360 sexbox comes out there will be waaay better games out by then. Those ones are old school.

i have an xbox, so the games i do want in that list are compatible.

Microsoft ripping us off

this news is seriously making me rethink buying a 360. nearly 100 USD more than what the rest of the world is paying. so not only are we waiting till the 2nd of march, we havta pay more. i dont think i have AUS$649.95 for the premium, since i hav a lot of expenses coming up, and the core is just shit and even worse value

Accessories pricing on launch day in 2006 (all prices in $NZD):

Wireless (RRP$89.95) controller
Wired (RRP$69.95) controller
Play charge cable (RRP$39.95)
Rechargeable battery pack and cradle (RRP$59.95)
Battery pack (RRP$24.95)
20Gb hard drive (RRP$189.95)
64MB Memory unit (RRP$59.95)
Wireless networking adaptor (RRP$189.95)
VGA cable (RRP$59.95)
Advanced AV pack (RRP$44.95)
High Definition AV pack (RRP$59.95)
Headset (RRP$59.95)
Faceplate (RRP$34.95)
Universal Media Remote (RRP$59.95)
those are shit prices.. so since im gonna get a ps3 for sure, the 360 just doesnt look like good value, it can get fucked... ill save my money and put it towards gettin MGS4, killzone and GT5

pgr3, perfect dark... pfffft

I'm definately goin with the 360, because i always go for quality, not quantity. Besides PS2 has very few PS2 only shooters that r good. Also I loved Perfect Dark on N64, no wonder it got 101% with some magazines. It was the best game for its time!!!!! Until Max Payne came in... :)
