does anyone know what potter was trying 2 say when Orlando runs through the 'alice in wonderland' style maze?

this is kind of a late reply, but my teacher said it had something to do with the maze symbolising that life and the construction of history cannot be a linear, chronological entity and supports the postmodern value of the absence of a definitive historical truth

hope that helps at all? that's all I've got on the maze bit. not sure about the whole alice in wonderland aspect of it

Alice in wonderland = intertextual refernce thus enforcing the search for identity in a postmodern world, orlando being compared to Alice and her quest of course
