Was going through the Chem in focus textbook and came across steady state systems hadn't heard of it be when I did mod 5 so just wanted to know whether it is commonly known.

I haven’t heard of it before, so at first I thought steady state was the same as dynamic eqm but I did a quick search and...not exactly
In dynamic eqm, rate of forward rxn = rate of reverse rxn overtime. In a steady state, it’s more like the rate is constant and doesn’t change overtime; everything remains stable regardless of other factors that try to change them.
