Monetary policy is a macro-economic policy. Therefore it's a government policy?

No way, you cannot call RBA's actions government policy and visa versa. This was strictly about fiscal policy and how they achieve economic objectives

Wasn't it economic policies and how the government uses them? so you should have spoken about monetary.

Policies would be Macro and Micro.
I think it was essential to discuss Monetary Policy especially when it is the main tool to achieve price stability (a key Economic Objective).

"Discuss the effectiveness of economic policies in achieving the Australian Government's economic objectives"

Ok i was wrong, its all economic policies including the monetary policy

Wish i realised this, only talked about government policies....
