Hello All...

'Consider the curve given by where .'

'a) Find the stationary points and determine their nature'.

I've got the two stationary points at x = 0 and x = 1/6... But something I'm doing is wrong from there...

Thanks for your help in advance. :)

-2 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 5.' should be written as .

The stat points are at x=0 and x=1/6, that's correct.

Then to find their nature, I find a point either side of each value...

When x = 0

So x = -1, y' = 7 and x = 1, y' = 5

I don't think this is right!

The nature of a stationary point refers to whether it is a local min/max turning point or otherwise horizontal point of inflexion.

Yes, I believe I know that... I worked each one out to be a horizontal point of inflexion but I think I'm wrong.
