How many different kind of particle accelerators are all you people learning?
I called up that advice line and the teacher told me to learn only linear and cyclotron accelerators. Would that be enough?

it isn't that hard ne waz,...... we also learned syncrhotron or somthing, which is like 99% cyclotron..... aprt from the charged particle moves in a circle, but not accelerate..... forgot wut is it used for tho...... =p

Another one i think you could say is the Heavy Relativistic Ion Collider (HRIC). It's used to simulate conditions in the universe shortly after the Big Bang.
