Post your thoughts here.

I found it a lot better than I expected, the algorithms they gave weren't as significantly hard as other years.

For ZZZ, i did ZZZ+amount because i didnt think the data was specified as numeric, but and it didnt call the function again afterwards. I knew it would cause an error tho

yeah, I thought maybe it was the sentinel, but I don't think they could have expected us to just guess that it was

thats why i put - - to say that it ended, cause it was a sentinel value....lolz everyone thought i missed that kekeke

ZZZ is the sentinel value. hence the value is zero and ZZZ marks the end of the file/whatever.
Wasn't really clear, at least they should of stated it.

ah crap.

I took total = 0 and gst_total = 0 for every check

I didn't add it... :(

so i got my output as

22,2
33,3
11,1

and i wrote END as the output for my sentinel value since they indicate the end of the algorithm and there is nothing left but to end the algorithm.

wow i really scrweed that up.

i said it was a logic error, you cant add characters and integers :p
added the gst_total tho, that was ok.

you cant really interpret it as a sentenial error, unless they state it.

Well can't say I'm right. But EOF can be marked by a sentinel value given by a number of characters, a value or number.

Well time to play cs before I have to go study for economics on Wednesday :( hsc still not over for me

but the sentinal wasn;t defined in the algorithm, the sentinal could be 101 or x for all that we know
