Part B: Provided a major is completed in at least one of the subject areas listed in Part A, units of study (including sufficient to complete a major) may also be completed from biochemistry, bioinformatics, biological sciences, chemistry, computer science, economic history, economics, education, environmental studies, geology and geophysics, geography, government and international relations, history and philosophy of science, information systems, mathematics, microbiology, physics, plant science, political economy, psychology, statistics, industrial relations and human resource management.
Competition to transfer into Commerce would be high. This means that if you do a B.Arts in first year you would probably need a distinction average (above 75%) to be successful in transferring to Commerce. Of course, it also depends on your UAI (they consider both UAI and first year marks 50/50).
UAI for B.Commerce 2005 = 93.5 I believe, and Arts around 83.
Have you considered doing a degree a bit more similar to Commerce? Like Economics?
