Hi,
There are numerous threads related to this topic. I understand that the student that is ranked 1st internally pretty much gets the highest external mark and the everyone else is moderated between 1st and last place.
If you are in the top 50% of your school cohort at a poorly ranked school (eg. 10/20) with a huge gap between your rank and 1st place. How would you increase your internal/assessment mark?
Does that mean people ranked better than me (the other students but not the 1st ranked student) improve their external mark and do well will help increase my internal/assessment mark?
or only if the last ranked student and or first ranked student improves their external mark? Then it will increase the assessment marks?
How about outliers do they also affect the assessment mark or if they are too far like achieve a raw mark of 20 it doesn't affect the rest of the cohort?
Thanks
