Approximately 10% of our students are International students. There are also quite a few domestic students with different backgrounds.
You'll find the Asians quite easily, just keep your eye out for 465415646484354156 people walking around the uni together talking extremely loudly in whatever language.

No but the GT bar always has africans in it.

newcastle is multicultural but the anglos have the majorty of the uni in terms of popluation.

becauese the international students tend to stay in groups i find that generally there is a slight fear of them.

The university appartly takes racism very seriously due to problems last year. i don't know much about it only read abit of what was in the papers.

get a few Americans, particularly from Iowa (and none of them know about the wrestling, damnit!) in the colleges on campus, but it'd probably only be a few hundred or so.

It's multi-cultural, but nowhere near the level other Unis in Sydney like UNSW are - but you'd probably say that's predominantly asian more than anything.
