Question on Footnotes (1 Viewer)

Ok, this one's a bit confusing so stick with me...

if i reference a source say 'complete works of lenin" blah blah. then reference another two-three sources, can I still use 'completed worked of lenin, op. cit.'? or is only after just one source I am allowed to do that and have to reference the whole source again?

If you have referenced the full source once, then the following footnotes, no matter their position within the paper, that make use of the same source can be shortened.

lol yeah thats a good source for info on footnotes and what not what the problem is at uni are different departments in the same faculty have their own bull shit preferences like in text referencing rather than footnotes or whatever...annoying
