I did the HSC in 2009, and defered my offer at USYD and had a gap year in 2010. Over the year, I've changed my mine about the course I want to do.
I have to reapply through UAC to take up my offer - and I know you can put other courses higher up in your preferences if you want to.
This might be a stupid question, but is my 2009 ATAR considered equally with the 2010 ATARs for the courses I am applying for this year? If my 2009 ATAR is above the cutoff, am I as likely to get in as someone who did the HSC in 2010?

Thanks, any help would be great!

Yes, it shouldn't be a problem. Bearing in mind obviously ATAR cut offs can move from year to year. If you are above it by alot though you can pretty safely assume you are in.
