its prob the most obvious things:
- they emit radiation
- they have the same chemical properties as their non-radioactive counterparts

we dont need to actually do an experiment with wilson cloud chamber, we just need 2 know what it looks like and how it detects stuff, there are nice colour photos in jacaranda
