This may sound stupid, but say in parametrics, when you have to prove that two vertical lines are parallel.

Do u just say there two gradients are undefined?... mabye its just me, but it seems a bit wierd

Hmm...interesting.
Yeah, i guess you would just have to prove that both gradients are undefined, that is division by zero, and since no other gradient is undefined other than when a line is vertical, it should be ok to say that they're vertical.

Like it thought, its just me... but i can't help but to feel it seems wrong to prove stuff is undefined... just like those imaginary numbers... thank god i dont do 4u!
