If anyone has passed or is currently doing General Maths, can you answer a few questions?

1. Is the General Maths HSC/school examination content partly consisted of topics not covered in the Preliminary or HSC years (eg: <10) or are you tested solely on the Preliminary and/or HSC content?

2. Is there a website/book that tells you how to actually use "formulaes"?
(eg: Finding volumes of shapes, Simpsons rule for area approximation)

Thank you!

1. Isn't what you did in Prelim basically the same as HSC. Like the topics covered in Prelim are the same you do in HSC just like a build up though... :S

1. The exam will consist of most of the things in Year 12 and up to 30% of the exam can consist of questions from the Year 11 course. Nothing should be tested from Year 10 and below, although many of the Year 11 and 12 topics wil build up on concepts from those earlier years.

2. Wouldn't know of any, don't do the course myself.

Year 7-10 work is assumed knowledge. For example, stuff like the area of a trapezium will come up in questions.
