I know this is pretty random and such but... im gonna be in second yr in 2008, and does any1 feel that they're gonna be nigel as most of the people in their tuts will be with their friends (as they made identical timetables)?! My friends and I got identical timetables for semester 2 this year, but they all r doing different majors to me, so i guess i have no one. :( Im doing accounting and finance btw.

accting and finance are very common majors so chances are if you and ur friends dont make your timetables together you wont see each other... i guess you have to make new friends in your tutes. who knows, one of your friends might end up being in the same tute as you!!

Yeh I will probably be in the same situation. I am also doing acct and fins. It's no major problem for me if im "nigel" for 1 or 2 hours.

just make new friends. and part of the reason they have group work is for you to interact with people you dont usually talk to.

Personally, haha (no offence to any of my friends :D) i find it much better to be in tutorials where you're friends aren't around.

Because that way, you're much more independent AND you get the chance to meet all these new people that you wouldn't otherwise meet! I've always found it harder to form friendships with people in new classes when you have a friend or two also with you, cos you end up tending to group together, talk & etc.
