I was just wondering, do you guys think it's appropriate to put swear words in your major work? I only have a few, it's not like it's every second word or anything. I don't think the passages would be quite as effective without them, so I don't really want to take them out.

I read some MWs with a lot of needless swearing... and it really turned me off.
BUT I also read quite a few with some swearing and it was effective. It's just important to use it tastefully. if you're still in doubt, check with your teacher or English co-ordinator.. there was a girl in the EE2 class at my school last year who had quite a bit of swearing in hers and the school were mad cunts about approving it.
