For applying to another state in regards to universities. You have your ATAR of 80 for argument sake, do you have to apply to their ATAR equivalent, or can you just go straight to their universities? I'm reading these university guides, and i am not sure as what to do. Sorry if it sounds a bit vague, im confused.

Maybe those who have been or are attempting the transition themselves could shed some light. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If im reading it correctly...

I applied for UTAS and they say that they will take your ATAR that you get in NSW and will relate it to a TER rank or whatever they use in tassie...and then base your entry on that...Im guessing this would be similar for most interstate applications (although im applying for a course in sydney..)

Well if you're going to Vic, they use ATARs too. Another state, they'll convert it into a TER/OP rank etc.

Just apply through VTAC/QTAC etc. and they convert your ATAR.

Queensland is the only state not to use the ATAR
