in my mdp am i trying to market the product i am makeing or just construct it?

lets say that im building a coffee table, in my foilio would i need to state any additional resources needed to market my product such as fliers and extra finances etc, or not?

Marketing is part of the process if you make it that way. You have to have clearly identified your intent to market though. I'm guessing in your case because you've actually asked the question you have no intent.

if you want the marks, do it all. document the process, know the target market and create some marketing to cater to this market. for my project, i had the whole process documented, testing and all that stuff, then i had a section of marketing with logos and investigation into the protection of IP, packaging ideas etc etc.

having marketing stuff shows you are thinking ahead to the future of your product, that you are thinking about how it is to be sold, giving a more rounded MDP which = MARKS! lol
