i have two questions from the s.davis book on pg. 35 my teacher told me to do them but i don't know what it expects us:eek: . actually...someone do it for me pls..

1. A group of software developers are creating products to automate tasks within the Real Estate Industry. These software developers form an association to help maintain standards within their particular section of the market. Design a code of conduct for this association.

2. a software developer creates a new product. This product accepts object code as its input. The product analyses this code and outputs a listing similar to a high-level language. The software developer decides to market the product as "shareware". Discuss the possible social and ethical issues involved in this scenario in terms of the developer and the users.

In this one the software developer essentially wants to put as "shareware" a reverse engineering program (a program that converts a program to readable code - which in most cases when talking about commercial software is illegal). so you would just talk about how the public could reverse engineer programs and this wouldn't be good, so the developer shouldn't do it and something or the other about the user and blah blah blah, you get the jist.

in the social and ethical issues section, as long as you know a bit about what's going on, you can just make up everything on the spot.
